Job summary

LION First Responder PPE, Inc. seeks a seasoned Warehouse Manager in Kentucky to lead daily warehouse operations and drive continuous improvement. You will mentor staff, manage inventory accuracy, and partner with cross-functional teams to optimize product flow and safety.

Responsibilities include budgeting, policy development, and implementing Lean/Six Sigma initiatives to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Strong understanding of inventory management and warehouse operations.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and employee engagement skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed operational decisions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse staff to meet goals and maintain a positive environment.
• Oversee receiving, inventory control, order processing, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Establish and monitor metrics to drive performance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO, company policies, and safety regulations.
• Develop policies, procedures, and training programs to support operational excellence.
• Analyze warehouse processes for efficiency improvements and cost reductions.
• Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counting and WMS controls.
• Collaborate with Operations leadership on layout, product flow, and optimization.
• Develop and manage departmental operating and capital budgets.
• Maintain relationships with transport providers, customer service, sales, scheduling, and cross-functional teams.
• Lead Lean, Six Sigma and other process-improvement initiatives.
• Oversee disposition of damaged, expired, recalled, and returned inventory.
• Serve as project leader during WMS implementations or upgrades.
