Job summary

Warehouse Specialists, Inc. seeks an Operations Manager to oversee daily warehouse activities, drive safety, cost efficiency, and service quality. You will lead shifts, analyze workload, and guide Lean improvement efforts while reporting to the Facility Manager.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and a track record in warehouse operations. On-site work with possible nights and weekends, plus a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of warehousing experience.
• Strong leadership and Lean knowledge.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or Labor Management Systems (LMS).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend daily shift change meetings for labor/capacity planning.
• Monitor and drive customer KPI performance and safety program compliance.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and Lean projects.
• Forecast and schedule labor to meet customer needs.
• Train and mentor shift supervisors and onsite staff.
• Coordinate with third-party contractors to support operations.
