Job summary

WSI (Warehouse Specialists, LLC) is seeking an Operations Manager for its California fulfillment facility. As a hands-on leader, you will drive daily operations, optimize labor, and ensure safety and quality, while meeting client expectations and company standards.

You will lead shift teams, engage in continuous improvement using Lean methodologies, and collaborate with customers and contractors to achieve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in warehousing.
• Strong knowledge of LEAN principles and continuous improvement.
• Proficient in reading/writing and interpreting numbers.
• Experience leading and mentoring shift teams.

Responsibilities

• Attend daily shift change meetings for labor/capacity planning.
• Monitor and analyze workload demands and KPI performance.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and Lean initiatives.
• Provide regular progress reports and data-driven insights.
• Forecast and schedule labor to meet client needs.
• Train and mentor Shift Supervisors.
