Job summary

Universal Pure is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead the safe, efficient operation of our facility’s warehouse and distribution activities. This role oversees receipt, storage, inventory control, picking, staging, and shipment of materials and finished goods to support production, customer service, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• 5–10+ years in warehouse or distribution, including 3+ years leading teams.
• Experience in food manufacturing or cold storage is strongly preferred.
• Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, ERP/WMS, lot traceability, FIFO/FEFO.
• Experience managing hourly workforces, overtime, and multi-shift operations.
• Strong knowledge of food-safety requirements and OSHA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Direct receiving, put-away, storage, movement, picking, staging, shipping, and inventory transfers.
• Ensure materials are available for production and customers as required.
• Establish standardized work, layouts, slotting, and 5S.
• Optimize labor, equipment, space, and cold-storage utilization.
• Lead safety and food safety programs with zero-incident mindset.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop warehouse staff; manage labor budgets.
• Lead continuous improvement projects using 5S, Kaizen, and ERP/WMS data.
