Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to direct all warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, and to ensure accurate and timely product flow. The role requires leading a team, managing staff, and upholding safety and efficiency across the facility.

The position emphasizes training, coaching, and performance management to maintain professional operations and high service levels for customers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 4-6 years warehouse and team lead or supervisory experience.
• In-depth knowledge of all warehouse operations.
• OSHA forklift operator certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises associates including staffing, training, coaching, performance management and problem resolution.
• Coordinates with Transportation Manager to ensure efficiency and proper loading/unloading of products.
• Reviews stock status and coordinates inventory counts to meet customer needs; communicates shortages or promotions.
• Coordinates with inventory staff to manage obsolete products and disposition.
• Ensures building and equipment are maintained by supervising maintenance activities.
• Notifies Customer Service and Operations Manager about shortages and substitutions.
• Maintains knowledge of SOPs and ensures department staff compliance.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
