Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Warehouse Worker to support shipping and receiving operations in a fast-paced distribution center. You will perform forklift-related tasks, pallet movements, and order selection while maintaining safety and quality standards.

This role requires standing, walking, and lifting throughout shifts, with the ability to work in cooler, freezer, and dry environments. A post-offer drug test and background check are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products weighing 10–35 pounds and generally up to 60–90 pounds.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Performs general warehouse duties including forklift put-away, let-downs, will-call selection, returns, sanitation, and pallet handling.
• Keeps warehouse area clean and safe; reports unsafe conditions immediately.
• Performs daily safety checks of forklifts/pallet jacks per policy.
• Inspects items on receipt and flags items per policy.
• Follows safety policies and completes vehicle inspections.
• Prepares production paperwork and schedules; supports operations.
• Wears required PPE and safety gear; meets productivity standards.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
