Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee all warehouse workflows and the driver fleet in terms of recruiting, safety, compliance, training, and department management. You will counsel staff to reach corporate goals and support profitability, acting as a collaborative member of the team and performing duties to best serve the company.

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.
• 6–10 years foodservice operations or related area with management experience.
• 2–3 years in a leadership role for a team of >150 direct and indirect reports.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff including scheduling, training, coaching, performance management, and problem resolution.
• Manage inventory to optimize cash flow and service levels; budget the Warehouse Department annually and monitor monthly.
• Interact with customers and vendors in a friendly, timely and quality manner; respond to questions accurately and promptly.
• Establish procedures that maximize efficiency of the operations department and productivity.
• Solve operational problems and adapt to variables with minimal standardization; analyze situations and decide effectively.
