Job summary

Performance Food Group, through Performance Foodservice, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to manage the warehouse workflow and oversee the driver fleet, with emphasis on safety, training, and compliance. You will counsel staff, strive for corporate goals, and ensure profitability while maintaining high service levels.

You will lead budgeting efforts, monitor inventory, and drive continuous improvements in distribution operations within a large foodservice network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business management, operations or related area is preferred.
• MBA is a plus and can support leadership of warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise associates including scheduling, training, development counseling, performance management, and problem resolution.
• Manage inventory dollar levels to optimize cash flow and service levels; develop annual budgets.
• Oversee budget adherence and quarterly inventory organization and reporting.
• Interact with customers and vendors to ensure timely, accurate responses.
• Establish procedures to maximize department productivity and efficiency.
• Solve operational problems and adapt strategies to improve distribution performance.
