Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead warehouse teams in a fast-paced distribution environment. You will ensure safety and quality while directing work, scheduling tasks, and monitoring staffing levels to maximize efficiency.

The role emphasizes coaching, policy adherence, and continuous improvement. You will also participate in safety programs, inventory control, and process enhancements, reporting to the General Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with related experience
• Minimum of three years of warehousing/ distribution experience
• Minimum of six months supervisory experience
• PC skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Direct the work of associates in warehouse/distribution for safety and quality
• Mo nitor and optimize work volume, schedules, and workflow to maximize cost efficiency
• Assign duties and inspect work for quality, policy adherence, and neatness
• Schedule inventories and manage outbound order shipping
• Provide clear instructions and ensure associate accountability
• Coach and mentor staff, including performance evaluations and corrective actions
• Oversee receiving processes, zoning, and product database upkeep
• Train staff on policies and standard work; support safety initiatives and committee work
• Assist in developing processes and process improvements
• Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the General Manager
