Job summary

Owens & Minor is a global healthcare solutions company seeking a Distribution Center leader to coordinate outbound, warehousing, shipping, and inventory accuracy in line with service and cost objectives.

You will direct a team, coach Supervisors, drive safety and quality KPIs, manage expenses, and ensure regulatory compliance across DC functions. This role demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills within a healthcare logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 9+ years of professional supply chain or warehouse ops exp, healthcare/medical device preferred.
• Strong leadership, planning and people-motivation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; ability to influence senior leadership.
• Deep knowledge of supply chain, logistics and warehouse management best practices.

Responsibilities

• Directs PM ops and teammates within a DC to meet service and cost objectives.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to Operations Supervisors and teams.
• Lead initiatives to improve DC metrics that drive financial performance.
• Review DC expenses and make capital recommendations where appropriate.
• Enforce SOPs/WIs for warehouse management and transportation; regulatory adherence.
• Oversee customer service for DC functions including pick/pack/ship and deliveries.
