Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a Lead – Warehouse to supervise the plant’s warehouse operations and drive production reporting and staffing decisions. You will train staff, implement quality programs, and maintain a safe, high-morale environment to help the team succeed and grow.

The role requires five years of corrugated manufacturing leadership, strong scheduling, RF scanning, ISO knowledge, and a proven track record in continuous improvement and HR-related activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus college and/or appropriate technical courses
• Five years’ experience as a Lead with corrugated manufacturing experience
• Candidates are PREFERRED who offer the following: College degree, Experience with HRMS
• Must be able to maintain a forklift certification
• Production reporting, RF Scanning, Order Processing, ISO knowledge, Workflow processes, Continuous improvement methods including 5S, Recruiting and Training Experience, FIFO

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse and all associated employees.
• Monitor production performance throughout the day by running reports.
• Prepare for next day by evaluating outstanding orders needing processed.
• Identify staffing needs for upcoming shifts.
• Train, re-train and evaluate warehouse team performance.
• Initiate programs to maintain quality, efficiency and production levels.
• Assist in troubleshooting computer issues as needed.
• Maintain safe, high-morale work environment.
• Keep leadership informed of issues impacting plant operations.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
