Job summary

Quality Stainless Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee shipping, receiving, warehousing, and inventory control for stainless steel products in a safe, organized facility in Minneapolis.

The role focuses on accurate movement of materials, forklift operations, and ensuring on-time operations. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years in warehouse roles, experience with forklifts, and proficiency in WMS/ERP systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or distribution experience.
• Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Proficient in WMS, ERP, inventory control software, and Microsoft Office, with ability to accurately process transactions and generate reports.
• Ability to read and interpret packing slips, purchase orders, and shipping documents.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with ability to work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Verify product quantities, descriptions, and customer requirements before shipment.
• Load trucks safely and efficiently using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Prepare shipping documentation, packing slips, bills of lading, and carrier paperwork.
• Coordinate with carriers and transportation providers to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Receive incoming shipments and verify against purchase orders and packing lists.
• Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Perform cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies.
• Safely operate sit-down, stand-up, and/or reach forklifts and maintain certification.
