Job summary

Plycem USA LLC in Houston, TX seeks a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations, ensure safe material handling, and drive efficient shipping and inventory control. You will supervise staff, coordinate trucking, and enforce safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 3–5 years of supervisory experience, forklift certification, and working knowledge of SAP and Shipwell. Expect 12-hour shift flexibility and a strong focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of warehouse supervisory experience.
• 1-2 years of experience with truckload and LTL shipping.
• Working knowledge of SAP and basic computer applications (MS Office).
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, trucking processes, and material handling.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, staging and shipping.
• Plan truckload and LTL shipments; negotiate carrier rates; complete shipping paperwork; transact in SAP and Shipwell.
• Maintain FIFO inventory; perform monthly cycle counts and support physical inventories.
• Supervise, schedule and direct warehouse staff to meet production and shipping needs.
• Train, coach and hold employees accountable for performance, quality, and safety.
• Foster teamwork and effective cross-department communication.
