Job summary

Polytainers Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Lead to coordinate daily shift operations, supervise forklift activity, and ensure efficient movement of product and materials across molding, printing, and warehouse areas.

You will use RF scanners, assist with order picking, and prepare shipping documents while upholding strict safety standards and continuous improvement practices. Minimum 2 years in warehousing with a forklift license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; post-secondary education preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience; supervisory capacity preferred.
• Valid forklift license (counterbalance and reach truck).
• Strong English communication skills, verbal and written.
• Lean manufacturing exposure; knowledge of 5S, Six Sigma, TPS; HACCP/WHMIS knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily shift operations on the shop floor.
• Operate forklift and supervise on-floor activities.
• Distribute product, materials and scrap across departments.
• Assist with order picking and staging to maximize loads.
• Record product movement using RF scanners.
• Plan, load, and direct trailers for city deliveries and inter-warehouse transfers.
• Prepare shipping documentation and ensure proper staffing.
• Ensure production quality meets customer standards.
• Maintain safety programs; train team members and support accident/incident investigations.
