Job summary

Richmond Wholesale Meat, a Pro Food Solutions company, seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to lead Sandston, VA operations. You will manage staff, oversee labor deployment, safety, and inventory control, and partner with the Warehouse Manager to drive continuous improvement.

Hands-on production tasks may be required for training or surge coverage. You will set priorities, monitor workflow, and ensure service quality while maintaining compliance with USDA/FDA and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Three or more years of progressive warehouse, distribution, logistics, or supply-chain experience.
• Experience supervising employees and performance management.
• Experience with receiving, shipping, inventory control, and warehouse systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned Warehouse Associates and other designated warehouse personnel.
• Develop staffing plans, schedules, and coverage strategies based on volume and requirements.
• Interview and evaluate candidates; provide coaching and development.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance across operations.
• Analyze productivity, dock flow, and inventory integrity to drive improvements.
• Plan for seasonal demand and surge activity with staffing adjustments.
