Job summary

US3665 Sygma Virginia (The Sygma Network, Inc) is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead day warehouse activities, including receiving, replenishment and storage, while ensuring safety, security and QA compliance. You will manage staff, schedules and performance in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

This role offers potential eligibility for Sysco's Incentive Plan and requires oversight of HACCP, food safety documentation, and proper use of warehouse assets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 2-4 year college degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or similar major preferred.
• 1-3 years related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the daily work and safety of employees engaged in receiving, replenishing and storing inbound products, including all warehouse functions, receivers and day forklift operators.
• Manages Will Call operations including replenishment, selection, and loading of products with proper temperature controls and QA guidelines.
• Oversees labor hours and consumable supplies within budget.
• Prepares work schedules including extra work days and shifts as needed.
• Inspects utilization of company assets and coordinates repairs as necessary.
• Reviews day warehouse functions and productivity reports to identify improvements.
