Job summary

MRC Global in Richmond, VA seeks an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to manage receiving, stocking, and delivery operations, working with branch management to meet budget and service goals while ensuring safe, on-time product fulfillment.

You will supervise warehouse staff, enforce safety policies, and coordinate with sales to maintain inventory accuracy and timely shipments. A strong focus on OSHA compliance and efficient operations is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and related training in distribution operations.
• 4 years’ warehouse experience.
• 2 years supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts, order pickers, cranes and related equipment.
• Valid driver's license and driving record.
• Proficient with computers and software applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, stocking, and delivery to customers and coordinate with branch management.
• Ensure safety policies, OSHA guidelines, and fleet safety compliance.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and equipment condition; manage maintenance as needed.
• Coordinate communication between warehouse and sales office to ensure timely deliveries.
• Perform cycle counting and inventory management; supervise staff and coach performance.
• Recruit and develop employees; enforce company policies.
