Job summary

Nature's Touch, Front Royal, VA, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead the freezer-warehouse team. You will drive safety, efficiency, and shift performance, coordinating inventory, shipping, and receiving while coaching a diverse staff on best practices.

You will mentor 11 direct reports and 19 indirect reports, ensuring adherence to food safety standards (HACCP, FDA, SQF) and continuous process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of warehousing experience in the food industry.
• Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards, including HACCP, FDA, and SQF.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in WMS programs and reporting tools.
• Proficiency with Excel.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety first and foster a safe, productive workplace culture.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 11 direct reports and 19 indirect reports across shifts.
• Oversee all freezer warehouse operations: inventory, housekeeping, shipping, receiving, and personnel.
• Train, develop, and evaluate shift employees; provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
• Prepare and maintain department reporting and record-keeping systems.
• Ensure adherence to material and inventory control policies and procedures; real-time staffing decisions.
• Escalate critical issues to leadership and address attendance and performance concerns.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are completed accurately and on time.
