Job summary

The Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a supervisor to manage day-to-day receiving, selection, loading and productivity for hourly teammates in Compton, CA. You will model our core values and ensure safety, quality and on-time performance.

Lead a team, coordinate with other departments, oversee labor, and generate productivity reports while meeting budget objectives. Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills required; MS Word and Excel experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years supervisory experience.
• High school diploma or higher (degree preferred).
• Two or more years of leadership experience.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to report and propose solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with fellow supervisors and Manager on daily operational activities.
• Manage and promote safety and sanitation in all areas.
• Plan production/staffing needs on a daily, weekly, period basis.
• Work with other areas to maximize productivity and performance.
• Monitor and meet all order accuracy requirements/expectations.
• Conduct meetings with hourly associates.
• Oversee personnel records for all associates.
• Help develop and train hourly associates.
• Generate distribution/service center productivity reports and track labor hours against budget.
• Supervise and coach direct reports, completing performance reviews and providing feedback.
• Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
