Job summary

The Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a supervisor to oversee the day-to-day receiving, selection and loading of product at our Romulus distribution center. This role models our values and drives productivity while ensuring safety and accuracy in operations.

You will lead hourly associates, plan staffing, monitor performance, coach staff and generate labor/productivity reports. Requires 2–5 years of supervisory experience and proficiency with MS Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years supervisory experience
• High School or greater education; degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Communicate with fellow supervisors and Manager on daily operational activities.
• Manage and promote safety and sanitation in all areas.
• Plan production/staffing need on a daily, weekly, period basis.
• Work with other areas to maximize productivity and performance.
• Monitor and meet all order accuracy requirements/expectations.
• Conduct meetings with hourly associates.
• Oversee the personnel records for all associates.
• Help develop and train hourly associates.
• Generate distribution/service center productivity reports and manage labor hours within budget.
