Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Warehouse Operations Lead to coordinate daily warehouse activities and supervise shift teams in Tracy, CA. You will direct tasks, support forklift operations, and drive safety and efficiency in line with company goals.

Key responsibilities include coordinating receiving, put-away, picking, and loading, while training staff on SOPs and ensuring accurate inventory reporting. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment under pressure.
• Good visual acuity to inspect shipments.
• Ability to input data to create daily inventory reports.
• Accuracy in recordkeeping and in sorting, counting, and verifying items received.
• Strong time management, organizational, planning and self-motivation skills.
• MHE experience or willingness to learn material handling equipment.
• Attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with shift leadership to meet shift goals.
• Oversee and coordinate warehouse processes such as receiving, put away, picking, and loading.
• Directs work assignments to employees.
• Provide daily hands-on support in material handling and forklift responsibilities.
• Ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are met.
• Suggest process improvements to supervisor.
• Communicate with internal and external partners.
• Report problems and assist in finding solutions.
• Ensure safe operation of all material handling equipment.
• Train new and current employees on SOPs and WIs.
• Maintain clean, organized warehouse and proper inventory labeling.
