Job summary

Amazon is hiring an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly associates within one of our operations buildings. You will mentor, motivate and manage your team to meet goals while ensuring safety, quality, attendance and performance.

The role offers extensive training and development to become an exceptional people leader, with varied site types and relocation options for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree completed between May 2024 and August 2026 (before first day).
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor and motivate 50-100 direct report Amazon Associates.
• Work independently in an autonomous environment.
• Stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Regularly work shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Oversee truck deliveries, handle and sort packages with pallet jacks, operate PIT equipment as applicable.
