Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly associates in our fulfillment network, ensuring safety, quality, attendance, and performance while delivering customer orders on time and to the correct location.

You will collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources to meet business objectives. Expect lifting up to 49 pounds, standing up to 12 hours, and operating in varied temperatures and noisy environments across delivery stations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• 1+ year of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet objectives.
