Job summary

AMS Fulfillment in New Castle, DE is seeking an Operations Lead I to supervise and motivate warehouse staff, coaching the team to achieve productivity targets while maintaining safety and quality standards. You will oversee production schedules, ensure client contract compliance, and train new staff including temporary workers.

The role requires at least two years of supervisory warehousing experience, forklift certification ability, and strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years warehouse supervisory experience.
• Ability to become forklift certified.
• Understanding of warehousing operations in distribution/fulfillment.
• Strong leadership, organization, communication and cross functional teamwork.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word.
• College education a plus or work experience equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate warehouse schedules and work closely with Operations Manager/Director of Operations.
• Direct warehouse personnel and activities to ensure contract compliance.
• Prepare status and production reports.
• Communicate receipt and processing of client products.
• Train and supervise new employees including temporary staff.
• Communicate and ensure the safety and welfare of all employees.
• Perform related administrative duties.
