Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or 3-5 years equivalent education/work experience in a distribution center.
• 3-5 years warehouse supervisory experience in a distribution center.
• Experience with handheld RF unit; voice recognition is a plus.
• Powered industrial truck certification required within 2 weeks of hire.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse procedures.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate and monitor daily warehouse activities including receiving, putaway, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Ensure staffing, training and performance management to meet safety and quality standards.
• Lead and mentor staff, conduct pre-shift meetings, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor expenses and resources; implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and regulatory requirements (OSHA, SOPs).
