Job summary

Focus is seeking an Assistant Warehouse Manager to join our growing logistics team. You will support the Warehouse Manager, coordinate labor, and ensure accurate packing, labeling, and shipping processes while maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities include training staff, supervising daily operations, and stepping in for the Warehouse Manager as needed. The role requires 1 year of supervisory experience and comfort with heavy furniture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year minimum of previous warehouse supervisory/lead experience.
• Experience working with furniture preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work with heavy furniture.
• Reliable attendance.
• Attention to detail.
• Organized and detailed record keeping.
• Previous forklift certification/experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate warehouse labor activities to assure high levels of production and quality of work.
• Provide training to warehouse associates to meet standards and guidelines.
• Oversee labeling accuracy and paperwork processes.
• Maintain accurate warehouse inventory and communicate issues to management.
• Ensure compliance with scan discipline and safety protocols.
• Assist with day-to-day warehouse operations and step in for the Warehouse Manager when absent.
• Support equipment operation (forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
