Job summary

MAAG Group seeks a Warehouse Manager to lead inventory, receiving and shipping operations on the factory floor. You will set productivity targets, implement 5S, Kaizen and standard work to improve flow and accuracy while ensuring safety and compliance.

You will direct a team, coordinate with sales, logistics and suppliers, and develop processes to optimize material flow, storage, and reporting for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of MRP systems.
• 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 2 years’ experience with inventory management and transactions.
• Minimum of 2 years management/leadership experience either within or beyond manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Work, Excel).
• Lean/Continuous Improvement experience in process, process flow, organization and waste reduction, or willingness to gain certification in areas required by the business.

Responsibilities

• Ensure warehouse and team operate at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction as the primary goal.
• Direct shipments and resolve logistical challenges by communicating with clients, sales, transportation providers, manufacturers, and suppliers.
• Promote and supports Daily Kaizen activity among team members.
• Drives daily engagement and accountability for results as part of the daily Tier meeting structure.
• Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management, gate processes, and shipping protocols.
• Strategize inventory volumes and warehouse capacity to maximize productivity.
• Audit and report inventory.
• Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with the Director of Operations and other area leaders.
• Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employee's knowledge base.
• Communicate and collaborate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner while building strong trust-based working relationships.
• Develop and implement Process Improvements, including new technology, for all warehouse-related functions.
• Spearhead improvements in material flow, layout and inventory organization.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment, encourage continuous improvement spirit within team.
• Lead and participate in inventory audit requirements.
