Job summary

Genesis Products is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee warehouse operations, ensure safe handling of materials, and manage shipments and carriers. You will work with the Plant Manager and Material Manager to meet customer needs and company expectations.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in warehouse/logistics in manufacturing, strong organizational skills, and experience with ERP/MRP systems. This role focuses on efficiency, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse and logistics experience in a manufacturing environment, including Material Handling and ERP/MRP systems expertise.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and in a team.
• Demonstrated composure in difficult situations.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote employee safety and oversee proper operation of material handling equipment.
• Ensure direct reports perform duties per company policies and procedures.
• Maximize warehouse space utilization and ensure efficient material flow.
• Ensure 5S execution across all warehouse areas.
• Certify forklift drivers and ensure safe handling of materials.
• Collaborate with Material Manager to improve KPIs and assist with inventory counts.
• Coordinate cycle counts and variance reviews as required.
• Coordinate with Production Supervisors for material location, tagging, packaging, FIFO, and movement.
• Audit incoming/outgoing material activities for accuracy and condition of shipments.
• Direct movement of shipments from shipping/receiving to storage and work areas; confirm shipments left the building.
• Plan trucks for on-time delivery to internal and external customers.
• Maintain unfilled orders records and communicate changes with Sales/Product teams.
• Prepare bills of lading and other logistics documents.
• Supervise transfer truck operations, unloading/loading, and next-day staging.
• May assist with shipping/receiving, cycle counting, and other warehouse tasks as needed.
• Reallocate team members based on workload.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Plant Manager or management.
