Job summary

Summit Appliance, a division of Felix Storch, Inc., is seeking a Warehouse Assistant Manager for our Edison, NJ facility. The role supports receiving, put away, inventory control, picking, packaging, labeling, truck scheduling, and shipment execution, while maintaining NetSuite updates and process compliance.

This on-site position emphasizes inventory accuracy, correct product identification, and adherence to quality standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations and logistics.
• Strong understanding of receiving, put away, picking, and shipping processes.
• Ability to identify labeling, packaging, and serial number discrepancies.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound receiving and proper put away into bin locations.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and bin audits.
• Ensure correct picking and validation of packing lists before shipment.
• Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and pallet standards for shipments.
• Verify all units have readable and accurate labels.
• Assist in truck scheduling, routing verification, and carrier coordination.
• Confirm shipments match customer requirements and internal docs.
• Update ERP transactions to support invoicing and reporting.
