Job summary

NFI Industries in Wilmer, TX is seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to lead day-to-day warehouse activities, supervise personnel, and drive achievement of daily production goals. You will develop shipping/receiving schedules, supervise inbound/outbound shipments, manage equipment utilization, and partner with leaders to balance labor and meet objectives.

The role emphasizes safety, training, timekeeping, performance coaching, and adherence to policies; occasional travel to other warehouses

Qualifications

Requires supervision of warehouse personnel and meeting daily production goals.
Strong communication and leadership skills for team management.
Experience with or willingness to learn performance metrics, process improvement, and Lean/Six Sigma concepts.

Responsibilities

Develops and implements shipping and receiving schedules to meet goals.
Directly supervise warehouse personnel to align skills with workload.
Oversee inbound/outbound shipments to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Ensure equipment is used efficiently and coordinate maintenance with management.
Maintain daily end-of-shift reports and monitor productivity against objectives.
Provide coaching and feedback to staff and participate in performance reviews.
