Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor at our Groveport, OH location to lead a team of hourly staff and ensure service levels meet customer requirements and cost objectives. The role covers directing loading/unloading, cross-docking, and daily customer service operations while maintaining safety and driving continuous improvement.

Shift is Tuesday to Saturday, 3pm–11:30pm, with bonus eligibility based on performance.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years related functional experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Strong written/oral communication skills and the ability to actively listen are required

Responsibilities

• Lead supervisors and associates to meet customer objectives.
• Schedule workforce and equipment for daily tasks.
• Conduct team meetings and provide coaching.
• Monitor attendance and productivity; implement improvements.
• Ensure safety and compliance with procedures.
• Interact with customers and manage escalation as needed
