Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor at our Groveport facility to lead a team of hourly staff and ensure execution of daily tasks aligned with customer requirements and company goals.

You will oversee inventory control, cycle counting, scheduling, and safety while driving continuous improvement and cost efficiency across the site. Strong communication and hands-on leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years related functional experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Strong written/oral communication skills and the ability to actively listen are required.
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required.
• Must demonstrate ownership & responsibility to run the operation with a sense of urgency.
• Must have ability to connect and build rapport/relationships with associates and external customers at all levels.
• Must have ability to work efficiently with time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inventory control, cycle counting, receiving accuracy, and documentation control.
• Conduct team meetings and provide coaching to improve performance.
• Evaluate and recommend changes to methods to increase inventory accuracy and productivity.
• Provide relief coverage for operational duties when others are on time off.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures and manage overtime to meet targets.
