Job summary

Qualifications

2 - 4 years related functional experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Strong written/oral communication and organizational skills are required.
Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required.
Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, and pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Provide operational leadership to individual contributors and hourly workforce to ensure execution of daily tasks like driver deliveries, loading/unloading, and cross docking.
Supervise processes including workforce and equipment scheduling; correct actions up to written warnings.
Support hiring, review truck runs, identify private fleet opportunities, and ensure compliance with financial and safety policies.
Monitor attendance, productivity, and performance; training and coverage as needed.
Ensure safety, documentation, and adherence to site operating methods; participate in continuous improvement efforts.
