Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking an Operations Supervisor/Manager to support the Director of Operations at our Grayslake distribution center. You will direct warehouse activities and oversee daily production and order fulfillment.

Responsibilities include establishing procedures, leading daily processes for high-volume fulfillment, HR support, expense oversight, inventory management including VMI, sales support, and ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant work experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• Certified as a CDR by the State of Florida to ensure compliant operations and handling of pharmaceutical product.

Responsibilities

• Establishes operational procedures for shipments, materials handling and inventory to keep current.
• Lead daily processes to ensure order fulfillment and production excellence, aligning with the Director of Operations.
• Support HR processes locally: staffing, performance management, compensation where needed, training and development.
• Oversee expenses, arrange repairs, coordinate freight with carriers and inter-company partners.
• Monitor and manage inventory including Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI).
• Assist local sales and leadership to deliver outstanding customer service and resolve issues.
• Ensure safety and hygiene, guiding the safety committee.
