Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or associates degree preferred in logistics or related field
• Bachelor's degree in logistics or related field preferred
• 6+ years progressive operations experience with degree or 7+ years without degree
• Prior managerial/supervisory experience preferred
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred
• Proficiency in PC, RF handheld devices, WMS or similar technologies
• Ability to operate machinery including forklift as required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Analytical and budgeting/project management skills
• Ability to work autonomously and in team in fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Monitor staff performance and provide action plans to maximize productivity
• Plan and schedule personnel, equipment, and supplies for efficient workflow
• Help develop and manage daily/weekly/annual financial and operational plans
• Hire, motivate, and train staff
• Provide staff with materials and guidance to meet daily goals
• Ensure safe handling of materials and equipment
• Maintain housekeeping and safety initiatives
• Perform additional duties as assigned
