Job summary

GNC Distribution Center in Whitestown, Indiana, seeks an Operations Supervisor to oversee warehouse functions and staff to maximize productivity and service levels. This role emphasizes leadership, safety, and process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

You will monitor performance, plan staffing and resources, and collaborate on financial and operational plans while ensuring a safe, efficient workplace and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or Associate Degree in Logistics.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics preferred.
• 6+ years progressive Operations experience; 7+ years without degree.
• Prior managerial/supervisory experience preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
• Proficiency with WMS and PC/Office tools.
• Ability to operate forklift as required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor employee and department performance and provide an action plan to maximize productivity using Labor Management System.
• Adequately plan and schedule personnel, equipment, and supplies to maximize flow of materials.
• Assist management in developing, implementing, and managing financial and operational plans.
• Hire, motivate, and train new and current employees.
• Provide staff the proper materials, information, and guidance to achieve daily goals.
• Ensure safe handling of materials and housekeeping initiatives.
• Additional duties as assigned.
