Job summary

General Nutrition Centers is hiring a Warehouse Team Lead to assist the Department Supervisor in maximizing productivity and employee morale while ensuring service levels are met. You will monitor staffing, participate in tasks, and provide guidance within your assigned area.

The role requires 1–3 years of leadership in distribution/warehouse settings, experience with WMS (Red Prairie preferred), and strong coaching abilities to drive performance and safety.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience supervising a team in distribution/warehouse settings.
• Ability to coach, train, and motivate associates.
• Proficient in planning, scheduling, and coordinating team activities for smooth operations.
• Strong computer skills (MS Office, distribution software).
• Experience with WMS systems, preferably Red Prairie.

Responsibilities

• Support the supervisor by managing work assignments and adjusting staffing to optimize flow and labor hours.
• Monitor productivity, assess performance, inspect work quality, and provide actionable feedback.
• Generate productivity reports and ensure accurate, damage-free handling of materials.
• Communicate status updates to the supervisor and coordinate updates for the team.
• Troubleshoot system/process issues and contribute to corrective actions with supervision.
• Maintain safe, sanitary work environment and ensure equipment readiness; report shortages or damages.
