Job summary

Hilldrup is seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor in Stafford, VA to oversee daily warehouse activities, ensure inventory accuracy, enforce safety, and maintain orderly records. You will lead staff, coordinate with drivers, operations, and sales teams to sustain an efficient flow of shipments and high service levels.

Responsibilities include training on warehouse systems, generating monthly performance reports, and maintaining a safe, clean facility.

Qualifications

• Two to four-year college degree preferred.
• Two to three years of moving & storage experience.
• One to two years warehousing and supervisory experience.
• Certified Weighmaster.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the efficient flow of shipments in and out of the warehouse, ensuring accuracy, safety and profitability.
• Lead the team working in and around the warehouse and coordinate with drivers, operations and sales.
• Manage storage records, process paperwork, and maintain daily operations to keep everything running smoothly.
• Plan and assign tasks based on team strengths and ensure proper loading procedures are followed to minimize claims.
• Maintain a safe, clean facility and manage sprinkler system and grounds maintenance.
• Train staff on warehouse systems and ensure accurate inventory and shipment tracking.
• Generate monthly warehouse performance reports, tracking tonnage and comparing with previous periods.
