DHL Supply Chain seeks an Operations Supervisor – Distribution to lead a frontline team, optimize warehouse operations, and uphold safety standards at our Stafford, VA facility.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and at least one year of lead/supervisor experience plus logistics background. It offers a national salary range of $62,500–$70,000 with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferred.
• 1 year operations experience in a lead/supervisor/management role, preferred.
• 1 year logistics industry experience, preferred.
• Staff management, workload planning, objective setting and organizational skills, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a diverse team of frontline associates by providing coaching, guidance, and support as needed, while also developing a strong team culture of inclusion and belonging.
• Take proactive measures to consistently uphold compliance with health and safety regulations, fostering a culture of heightened safety awareness throughout the organization.
• Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to track performance and identify areas of improvement. Provide regular reports and analysis to management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations for enhancing warehouse operations.
• Foster an environment of open communication and collaboration, facilitating regular and effective dialogue among leadership and associates to promote transparency, alignment, and teamwork.
