Job summary

Floor & Decor in Ohio seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to direct store warehouse operations, supervise specialists, order pickers and forklift operators, and support the Receiving Supervisor with daily freight scheduling.

You will oversee shipping/receiving, inventory control, safety programs, training, and adherence to SOPs in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accurate data entry and efficient workflows across departments.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in warehouse or distribution center.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills with ability to delegate and follow up.
• Strong communication, both oral and written.
• Competent in basic mathematical calculations.
• Proficient in Windows-based systems and general computer use.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel daily to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
• Oversee storage, staging, and handling of products and materials.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Lead safety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA and internal standards.
• Train associates and enforce standard operating procedures.
• Handle inquiries and coordinate with other departments for efficiency.
• Prepare activity reports and resolve discrepancies in shipping, receiving, and invoicing.
