The role supports the Receiving Supervisor and coordinates freight schedules to meet customer and inventory needs. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution setting, strong communication and team-building skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of previous supervisory experience required (preferably in a warehouse or distribution center environment)
• Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills
• Ability to work with and maintain effective working relationships with other departments in the company
• Effective communication skills (oral and written)
• Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations
• Strong computer skills, with the ability to work in Windows-based systems
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet established deadlines
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day activities of the warehouse including shipping, receiving, maintenance, and inventory control
• Schedule warehouse personnel to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving
• Oversee Storage Buy transactions and staging of products; manage inspections and audits
• Maintain warehouse equipment and coordinate repairs; ensure safety procedures are followed
• Ensure accurate documentation and data entry through receiving to inventory control
• Monitor inventory rotation and warehouse safety programs
• Coordinate with other departments to optimize warehouse operations
• Prepare activity reports for management and handle inquiries
