Job summary

IEM in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead shipping and receiving of parts used to assemble switchgear. This in-office role reports to the Materials Manager and focuses on inventory accuracy and team leadership.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in warehousing within industrial manufacturing, with 2+ years in supervisory roles, and strong leadership, communication, and inventory management skills. There is no remote work for this position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 5 years of warehousing experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated competencies in leadership and inventory management.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise shipping/receiving activities.
• Prioritize and assign work using shipping procedures and rates.
• Ensure accuracy of shipments and inventory records.
• Maintain shipping materials inventory and oversee equipment.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed.
• Directly supervise the Material Control Attendant.
• Support team with daily logistics tasks as needed.
• Perform additional duties to support the team.
