Job summary

Industrial Electric Mfg. (IEM) in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Materials Manager specializing in warehouse and logistics. This full-time, in-office role oversees inventory control and material flow from receipt to shipment, reporting to the Supply Chain Manager.

You will lead daily warehouse operations, implement lean processes, and ensure on-time delivery to support production and customer commitments. Prior ERP/MRP experience is required; CPIM/CSCP or Lean certs are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business or related discipline.
• 4+ years’ experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience designing, implementing and managing lean warehouse and material replenishment systems (kanban).
• Proven hands-on leader who can direct daily warehouse and material flow activities while building team engagement and accountability.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor Syteline).
• Certifications optional but beneficial: CPIM, CSCP, Six Sigma or Lean.

Responsibilities

• Maintain control and accuracy over all inventories (raw material, WIP, finished goods).
• Coordinate with Supply Chain Manager to ensure materials are delivered to support production.
• Lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, storage, and delivery to point of use.
• Establish methods and best practices related to inventory control and warehouse processes.
• Support production scheduling by monitoring material availability and progress.
• Coordinate with QA to monitor supplier scorecard performance and vendor returns.
• Ensure accuracy of inventory counts and implement corrective actions with Finance.
• Participate as a member of the operations team in cross-functional decisions.
• Maintain safe and compliant work environment per EH&S regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
