Industrial Electric Mfg. (IEM) is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Jacksonville, FL. This in-office role reports to the Materials Manager and oversees shipping/receiving, inventory accuracy, and cycle counts for parts used in switchgear assembly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years in warehousing, receiving, inventory control, or materials management in an industrial manufacturing environment, including 2 years in supervision.
• Strong leadership, communication, teamwork, and financial management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate work, train, motivate, and monitor team members who verify and record incoming/outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment.
• Review shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other records to set shipping priorities and methods to meet schedules.
• Oversee incoming and outgoing receiving and shipping activities to ensure accuracy and inventory integrity.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Inspect material handling equipment for defects and coordinate repairs.
• Direct movement of shipments from receiving to storage areas.
• Assist team members with shipping and receiving activities as needed.
• Adhere to established safety guidelines.
• Directly supervise the Material Control Attendant.
• Perform additional duties to support the team and organization.
