Job summary

IEM is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for our Jacksonville, FL offices and will report into the Materials Manager. This role plans, organizes, and oversees the shipping and receiving of parts and supplies used to assemble switchgear and related electrical equipment, maintaining accurate inventory through cycles counts and annual physical inventory.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in warehousing within an industrial manufacturing environment, including 2 years of supervisory experience,

Qualifications

• 5+ years warehousing, receiving, inventory control, or materials management in industrial manufacturing.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated competencies in leadership, ethics, performance management, and communication.
• Promotional potential with growth to broader leadership roles in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, train, motivate, and monitor the team handling shipments and records.
• Set shipping priorities and methods to meet schedules per notices and invoices.
• Oversee inbound/outbound activities ensuring accuracy and inventory control.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials.
• Inspect material handling equipment and coordinate repairs.
• Direct movement of shipments from shipping to storage areas.
• Assist team members with shipping and receiving tasks.
• Adhere to established safety guidelines.
• Directly supervise the Material Control Attendant.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
