Industrial Electric Mfg. (IEM) seeks a Materials Manager specializing in warehouse and logistics for our Jacksonville, FL location.

This full-time role reports to the Supply Chain Manager and focuses on overseeing warehouse operations and material flow from receipt to final shipment to support production and commitments. Position requires 100% in-office presence in Jacksonville and does not offer remote work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business or a related discipline.
• 4+ years’ experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment
• Experience designing, implementing and managing lean warehouse and material replenishment systems (kanban)
• ERP/MRP systems experience for inventory and materials planning (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor Syteline)
• Certifications optional but beneficial: CPIM, CSCP, Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventories of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods and ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate with the Supply Chain Manager to ensure timely delivery to production.
• Lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and delivery to point of use.
• Implement inventory control methods and best practices.
• Support production scheduling by monitoring material availability.
• Coordinate with Quality Manager to manage supplier scorecards and returns.
• Maintain inventory counts with Finance to identify discrepancies and corrective actions.
• Participate in cross-functional operations decisions.
• Maintain safe, healthy, and compliant work environment per regulations.
