Job summary

Ross Stores in Carlisle, PA is seeking a hands-on supervisor to lead hourly teams in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You’ll oversee production schedules, train staff, enforce safety rules, and ensure accurate processing and distribution of merchandise to Ross stores.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and leadership as you conduct daily huddles, manage payroll records, interviews, and performance reviews while maintaining a positive, compliant work culture.

Qualifications

• BS degree or two years supervisory experience in a production or merchandising function (preferred).
• Developed written and verbal communication skills, as well as organization/prioritization skills are necessary.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively across multiple shifts/departments is required.

Responsibilities

• Manages hourly team to ensure timely and accurate processing and distribution of merchandise to stores.
• Responsible for accuracy/quality of work for all assigned Ross & Temp associates.
• Establishes and maintains strong working relationships, communicates priorities in daily huddles, and enforces safety regulations.
• Conducts disciplinary meetings regarding job performance and termination procedures as needed.
• Performs job applicant interviews, payroll and production records, and maintains daily paperwork.
