Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a distribution center supervisor to oversee hourly associates and temporary workers, ensuring timely processing and accurate distribution of merchandise to Ross stores.

You will apply established methods to train, motivate, and coach staff while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. The role involves conducting daily huddles, planning staffing, and enforcing policies.

Qualifications

• BS degree or two years supervisory experience in a production or merchandising function (preferred).
• Developed written and verbal communication skills, as well as organization/prioritization skills are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hourly Associates and temporary workers to meet production goals.
• Utilize MAP (Managing Associate Performance) to train, coach, and evaluate staff.
• Ensure accurate movement and processing of merchandise to stores.
• Conduct daily huddles and communicate priorities to the team.
• Enforce safety policies and manage disciplinary actions when needed.
• Prepare associate evaluations and assist in reviews with the DC Merchandise Manager.
