Springs Window Fashions in Allen, TX is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator to manage daily receiving, storage, and inventory for production materials. You will ensure accurate ERP/WMS entries and coordinate with planning to minimize downtime.

The role requires 1–3 years in warehouse operations, familiarity with ERP/WMS, and forklift certification preferred. This is a day-shift, full-time role with comprehensive benefits and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of warehouse or distribution experience.
• Previous experience coordinating warehouse operations preferred.
• Experience with ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (Sunsetter APP).
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review the daily receiving schedule, including purchase orders, inbound shipments, and container arrivals.
• Support and coordinate with WH Supervisor dock appointments and assign receiving doors based on shipment priorities.
• Monitor inbound deliveries and communicate arrival status to Purchasing.
• Verify received materials against purchase orders, packing slips, bills of lading, and shipping documents.
• Inspect incoming materials for shortages, overages, damaged items, incorrect part numbers, and labeling issues.
• Investigate and document receiving discrepancies, then communicate findings to Purchasing and suppliers.
• Ensure all receipts are entered into the ERP/WMS system accurately and promptly.
• Verify that received materials are assigned to the correct warehouse locations.
• Coordinate the movement of materials from receiving dock to storage, inspection, or production.
• Prioritize urgent materials to minimize downtime.
• Monitor receiving backlog and ensure shipments are processed within timelines.
• Coordinate with Inventory Control to resolve inventory discrepancies related to receipts.
• Maintain receiving documentation (packing slips, bills of lading, inspection records, discrepancy reports).
• Monitor warehouse capacity and dock organization to ensure efficient material flow.
• Communicate with carriers regarding delivery schedules, delays, detention, or issues.
• Coordinate with Planners/Buyers to resolve documentation, labeling, packaging, or quantity discrepancies.
• Conduct routine housekeeping inspections to maintain a clean, safe dock.
• Train and guide receiving personnel on SOPs and safety requirements.
• Assign daily tasks and monitor productivity and workload.
• Support cycle counts, inventory audits, and physical inventory activities.
• Generate and review receiving performance reports (accuracy, dock-to-stock time, transactions).
• Participate in continuous improvement to increase receiving efficiency and inventory accuracy.
• Any activity assigned by the Supervisor.
