Job summary

Wabtec in Oak Creek, WI is seeking a warehouse associate to support Shipping/Receiving, Inventory, and Carpentry processes. You will ensure smooth flow of parts and orders, perform cycle counts, pull and stock parts, and maintain orderly shipments with accurate paperwork.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, basic math and computer skills, ability to learn an RF system, forklift proficiency (stand-up reach preferred), and 1+ year of warehouse experience.

• Proficient in the use of computer applications such as Microsoft Word & Excel

• Minimum of one years of relevant warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Ship and receive both finished equipment as well as components
• Cycle count inventory
• Accurately pull parts for production areas and accurately stock parts in warehouse locations
• Oversee the proper loading and handling of goods and materials
• Maintain supplies and materials for shipments
• Validate the shipping materials and goods with the packing slips
• Ensure the completion of all paperwork relating inbound and outbound shipments
• Inspect and document any damaged goods or any other discrepancies and report the results to management
• Monitor inventory records and file reports of discrepancies in quantities and damages to management
• Count or weigh parts to check quantity accuracy
